Cape Hatteras, Part One

We just spent a week in the Outer Banks of North Carolina and what a relaxing, but action-packed time it was! We body-surfed in the Atlantic, flew a kite, built a bonfire on the beach (s'mores included), did a little hot tubbin', went to the Hatteras Marlin Club Tournament weigh-ins, fished for bait aboard the Trust Fun, climbed the tallest lighthouse in the country, shopped the local galleries (stimulated the economy), ate like kings and queens and lastly, mastered 2 amazing puzzles (my personal favorite). We can't wait to go back for 2 weeks in July!

Our view at the windy top of the Cape Hatteras lighthouse.

Our beautiful view from our back deck (one of the 5 or 6)!
Beach baseball... super fun!

Jason was so glad to have his family there every night
when he came in from the tournament.

Merritt and her minions... on our way home!
